Painted in an impressionist style, the landscape depicts wet sand, reflection from the blue sky with gentle waves rolling onto the beach where the couple walk by the waters edge. This work of art has atmosphere and great appeal. I used a light ultramarine blue with pink undertones, burnt umber, yellow ochre and siena palette to achieve the contrasting light and dark shades, adding subtle reflection throughout. The neutral tones of both painting and frame make this a piece of art one could place anywhere within your home or work space. It will create a soft and interesting focal point to enhance any wall area.
The frame is made from solid wood and painted warm satin white as is, the 6 mm thick MDF backing board which the painting sits on. The surface of the artwork is of professional quality, archival art board and the image has been finished with a satin varnish for it's protection. Ready to hang with fixtures and fittings in place.
