A medium size, abstract seascape of waves, birds and a stormy sea in natural, neutral tones of grey blue, burnt umber and burnt sienna.  It has been framed with a solid wood frame, painted warm white and painted onto professional archival art board. 
 
Moody and atmospheric in it's concept, 'Windy and Wild' has been painted in an abstract style, this artwork is deep in tone with a rustic but modern quality. The dark blue cloudy sky reflects onto the ocean, where I have used an expressionist form of painterly lines and detail. I find that using acrylic paint with different mediums gives me the effects I need to convey the aspects of uneven, course, natural beauty for a  seascape such as this.
 
So in my interpretation of painting a subject, I try to maintain the essence of what first inspired me to paint it. For me, what is fundamental in my paintings are light, subtlety of colour, harmony, depth and drama, while still staying true to the subject. In my finished work, I hope that I have conveyed to the viewer a sense of mood, which was present at the time of painting it.
 
The artwork is backed with 6 mm MDF and framed with solid wood frame painted in warm satin white finish. All fixtures and fittings are in place and therefore ready to hang in your home or work place. It will make a stunning piece of art in any room you choose.
