A medium size, abstract seascape painting of waves, birds and stormy sea in natural and neutral tones of grey blue, burnt umber and burnt sienna.  It has been framed with a solid wood frame and painted onto professional archival art board adding gesso for texture. 
 
Moody and atmospheric in it's concept, 'Windy and Wild' has been painted in an abstract and expressive impressionist style. It has deep tone with a rustic and modern quality. The dark blue grey cloudy sky reflects onto the ocean where I have used an expressive form of painterly techniques. I find that using acrylic paint with different mediums gives me the effects I need to convey the aspects of uneven, coarse, natural beauty for a  seascape such as this. 
 
The artwork is backed with 6 mm MDF and framed with solid wood frame painted in warm satin white finish. All fixtures and fittings are in place and therefore ready to hang in your home or work space. It would make a stunning piece adding focus and impact to any interior.
