'Upon the Sand' is a small framed, acrylic contemporary seascape painting. It has been painted in semi abstract style which is full of painterly qualities for you own interpretation. 
 
I have used a palette of blue, yellow ochre and burnt umber to depict the scene and added movement to the sky and sea by adding birds flying overhead and soft ocean waves, which roll gently to the shore onto the contrasting warm textured sand. The artwork evokes an emotional response to forms, atmosphere and textures from rural aspects of the rural British coastline.
 
It has been framed in a stylish, solid wood frame and painted in a warm white with satin finish. The painting itself has been made on archival, professional, primed art board and mounted on thick, painted MDF which is complementary to the frame. All fixtures and fittings are in place and therefore ready to hang. Because of the natural use of colour tone it would enhance many room settings whether at home or within your work place adding focus and attention to small spaces.
