'Underwater Treasure' is a large square semi abstract painting on stretched deep edge canvas. The image is full of texture, painterly qualities with shimmering gold, silver and light pink tones against a strong dark background. Colours of deep blue, black and white have also been used from the palette.

Depending on where you place this painting it can look different from every angle. I have used gold acrylic paint and an iridescent subtle pink for the shells. Primarily, it is an abstract painting but with the theme of an underwater presence of shells, fish and coral which is set on a dark background to give impact to the viewer. Full of textural reference with shapes abound sitting in harmony with the soft colour tones. I hope that I have conveyed to the viewer interest and intrigue with this ethereal work of art.

The artwork has been painted on stretched primed cotton canvas with the edges remaining white. It doesn't need to be framed and so 'ready to hang' but can be framed if desired. This beautiful image would suit most home interiors and enhance large areas of interest to create an eye catching feature and interesting focal point with a pop of colour.
