'Twilight' is a beautiful and harmonious coastal contemporary fine art painting. It has been painted in a semi abstract and slightly impressionistic style which expresses great tonal value. I have used many shades of colour but predominantly greens, blues with a hint of red. There are muted and blended colours throughout creating diversity and interest within. In contrast to the backdrop of the delicate shades of blue pink sky, the middleground, of gently flowing water, reflects light in abundance. The foreground is of a deep translucent tone which depicts a marshy rustic setting being painted in an expressionist way creating atmosphere and a warm vibrancy to this stunning landscape.
 
The artwork evokes an emotional response to forms, atmosphere and textures from rural aspects of the British rustic coastline.
 
It has been framed in a contemporary, modern style using solid wood and painted with warm white and satin finish. The painting itself has been made on archival professional, primed art board and mounted on thick, painted MDF. All fixtures and fittings are in place and therefore ready to hang. Because of the varied use of colour tone it would enhance many room settings whether contemporary or the more traditional.
