'Turquoise Bay' is a colourful, coastal contemporary fine art painting expressing great textural qualities and interest throughout. The blue, pink sky are the backdrop for the middle ground of sky reflecting light onto the water which gently flows to the beach forming rock pools of deep translucent tone in the foreground. It has been painted in a semi abstract style using  expressionist values emitting light throughout. I have used shades from a colour palette of predominantly greens blues, yellow ochre and red to portray this eclectic coastal seascape. It is both exciting and vibrant in its style which will highlight places in your home or work space adding a strong focal point creating interest and lively impact to the viewer. 
 
The artwork evokes an emotional response to forms, atmosphere and textures from rural aspects of the British rustic coastline.
 
It has been framed in a contemporary, modern style using solid wood and painted with warm white and satin finish. The painting itself has been made on archival professional, primed art board and mounted on 6 mm thick MDF. All fixtures and fittings are in place and therefore ready to hang. Because of the varied use of colour tone it would enhance many room colour schemes.
