'Time for Tea' is an abstract, mixed media painting on primed cotton art board. Painted with texture, expressively using pattern and form with complementary colours shapes and tones. Acrylic paint is applied using many practiced techniques and tools to achieve maximum impact and depth.
The artwork has been painted onto square professionally primed cotton canvas art board. Various mediums have been applied adding depth and continuity throughout. The colours include shades of blue, khaki green and ochre with tones of black and white adding light and dark for dramatic interest.
The work of art measures 25cm square and mounted with slightly textured archival warm white mount card with black core enhancing the design beautifully giving a sharp clean edge for a contemporary stylish finish. The wood frame is deep edge and finished in black matt for a smooth modern look. The front panel is glass.
