A large, square original watercolour of a tabby cat curled up and sleeping. A cute and adorable realistic painting for cat lovers.
Painted with a limited palette of burnt umber mixed with ultra marine blue and light tones of pink, I was able to create this detailed illustration of cat art.
It is framed in solid dark wood frame with a glass front panel and MDF backing. It has been double mounted with archival quality mount card. The outer mount is of white card with a slightly textured quality, and the inner of dark brown complementing the image beautifully. It has been painted on Bockingford archival thick watercolour paper and all fixtures are in place and therefore ready to hang. Because of the harmonious colours of both painting and frame, it will certainly suit many home interior styles whether modern or the more traditional. An eye catching work of art...not to mention, cute!
