It has been painted using mixed colours of burnt umber and ultramarine blue giving subtle tones of brown shades whilst painting the striped effect of this domestic pet. The definition of colour is strong highlighting the fur in all it's softness and finery. A strong image and focal point for any home setting whether modern or the more traditional.
The painting is framed in solid wood which has been professionally finished in gloss smooth white. The archival mount card is a soft white with bevel edge giving a modern sharp definition to the artwork. The watercolour art paper used is thick Bockingford 310 gsm. The work is backed with MDF and the front panel is glass. All fixtures and fittings are in place and therefore ready to hang.
