'Sweeping Tide' is an original, medium size, framed semi abstract seascape painting full of energy and life. Seagulls fly over the waves and sea spray whilst riding the wind. It depicts a sense of atmosphere, movement and freedom.
 
Strong shades of jade, turquoise blue grey with a hint of red tones are used to depict the ocean which has been painted in an impressionist and expressive style by using many painterly techniques throughout. The sky is mid blue grey in contrast to the rushing waves of vibrant colors, making this a striking and dramatic seascape.
 
It has been painted in acrylic medium on professional primed art board and finished with a satin varnish to protect the finished piece. The large modern frame is made from solid wood and finished professionally in a mat 'warm' white. All fixtures are in place and therefore ready to hang in your home or work space. It would suit many types of interiors from contemporary to the more traditional setting.
