'Sweeping Tide' is a medium size, framed semi abstract seascape. The seagulls are flying high over the ocean waves, riding the wind and feeling the sea spray. It depicts a sense of freedom untouched by the swirling deep sea below.
Strong shades of jade, turquoise blue grey and a hint of red tones are used to depict the ocean which has been painted in a semi abstract style by using many painterly qualities throughout. The sky is a mid blue grey in contrast to the rushing waves, making this a striking and dramtic seascape.
It has been painted in acrylic medium on primed cotton stretched canvas and finished with a satin varnish to protect the finished piece. The large modern frame is made from solid wood and finished professionally in a mat 'warm' white. All fixtures are in place and therefore ready to hang in your home or work space. It would suit many types of interiors from contemporary to the more traditional setting.
