A seascape painting in acrylic medium of a man surf fishing by the waters edge by the sea shore. A reflection of time spent at the beautiful Norfolk coast in the wintry months. 
 
A contempory style painting evoking atmosphere of times past using nuances of expressionist brushstrokes to describe the reflection from the sky onto the wet salty sand of the beach. Seagulls fly over the waves adding movement and a sense of time and place. A palete of violet ultramarine, burnt umber and yellow ochre are combined creating harmony and subtle tones throughout.
 
It has been painted onto professional, primed art board and coated with a layer of satin varnish for it's protection whilst adding a subtle sheen finish.
 
The bespoke frame is made from solid wood which has a slightly rustic and grainy surface. It has been professionally coated in a matt warm white complementing the artwork beautifully. Although a modern work of art, would suit a contemporary or traditional interior creating a soft and interesting focal point.
