An original watercolour painting of an hare in standing position beautifully illustrated using great detail to this animals features.
A limited palette was used to depict the enigmatic creature with light and dark nuances emphasising the contours and fur of the body. He stands against a speckled loose background of watercolour paint which complements the golden fur.
The painting is framed in a textured solid wood which has been professionally finished in warm white. It has been mounted with archival white mount card with slight texture and black core. The archival watercolour paper used is thick 'Bockingford' 310 gsm. The artwork is backed with MDF and the front panel is glass. All fixtures and fittings are in place and therefore ready to hang.
