Painted with great detail in tones of burnt umber and ultramarine blue with a speckled, textured background, this hare stands out in all his glory. I never stop tiring of painting these enigmatic creatures, which, by the way, can be seen all around the surrounding countryside where I live in South Cambridgeshire.
It is framed in solid light oak with glass front panel and MDF backing. The mount is of archival quality which is warm white, and slightly textured with black core, giving the painting a clean crisp edge and finish. It has been painted on 350gsm Bockingford archival thick watercolour paper and is ready to hang with fittings in place. The actual image measures 19 x 18 cm. Because of the harmonious colours of both painting and frame, it will certainly complement many home interiors. An eye catching work of art...not to mention, so cute!
