'Spirit of Day' is an original, framed, semi abstract seascape painting full of deep, intense colour tone which has been inspired by the coastlines of Great Britain, primarily Cornwall and Norfolk. A contemporary image of morning light settling over the sea shore. It has been painted in acrylic medium on professional, archival, primed art board and finished with high gloss varnish for aesthetic value and for its protection.
The vibrant, warm colours of yellow, orange and turquoise blue in various shades add intensity and light. By using many painterly techniques, I have combined colour creating depth, drama and harmony, making this an inspired and dramatic landscape with great appeal. The abstract style is a rustic and modern interpretation of the familiar rural British coastline which has been painted in a responsive way to forms, atmosphere and texture.
It has been framed in a bespoke, very stylish, mat, solid wood frame which is warm white in tone with a subtle grain running throughout. All fixtures and fittings are in place and therefore ready to hang. It would suit many room settings giving the viewer impact to any aspect of your home or office space.
