'Silent Flow' is a framed original, semi abstract, coastal painting full of highly textural and painterly qualities.
Using a palette with washes of mainly burnt umber and turquoise blue I've mixed yellow ochre to create deep tones depicting scenes reminiscent for me, of the British rural coastline. Rock, stone, sand and water reflect light onto the shore with a misty rough sea in the middle ground, giving this painting movement and contrast with impact.
It has been painted onto archival quality primed art board and sits on 6mm MDF painted in warm white with satin finish. The solid wood frame has also been painted to complement the artwork and varnished with satin to the background and gloss in the foreground to give the illusion of a wet and glistening surface. All fixtures have been professionally added and therefore ready to hang in your home or workplace. This contemporary painting is sure to create a strong focal point to your wall adding a modern feature of interest.
