A stunning and graceful animal to observe and paint. There is great tonal contrast creating light and dark throughout emphasising the features of this ethereal creature. Loose colours of green tones are the backdrop and in contrast, the herons feathers and body are painted with light shades of pink and blue creating intricate and detailed artwork.
 
It has been painted on archival Bockingford 300gsm Smooth watercolour paper and mounted with archival, white core, warm white textured mount card. The frame is made from solid wood with white, slightly textured matt finish and has glass front panel. It has been backed with MDF, sealed and all fittings for hanging are in place and therefore ready to hang in your home or work space.
