Coastal abstract seascape, a framed, original, contemporary, textural and expressionist painting inspired by the Cornish coastlines of Great Britain. 
 
I am inspired by many things, but the coast, for me, allows immense freedom of expression. The artwork evokes an emotional response to forms, atmosphere and textures from rural aspects of the British rustic coastline giving a sense of freedom and space.
 
I have created texture to the forefront by adding various mediums and  manipulating paint to interact together, giving natural fluidity which resembles the wet, rocky and sandy beach. The artwork has been painted with a palette of burnt umber, white and predominantly blue tones and is finished with a satin varnish for it's protection. 
 
The bespoke frame is made from solid wood and painted in warm white with satin finish. The artwork has been painted onto archival, professionnal art board and backed with MDF board. All fixtures and fittings are in place and is ready to hang in your home or work space.
