'Sea Storm' is a medium size, framed seascape painting using acrylic medium. It is impressionistic and rustic in it's style with a contemporary twist which has been styled using the equisite 'St. Ives' solid wood frame. The artwork, which is full of 'movement' and energy has been Inspired by time spent in the British rural countryside along the Cornish coastline of Southern England. This powerful and dramatic piece is both atmospheric and moody with great tonal depth. It has been expressed in a ‘painterly’ style using natural earthy tones from the warm colour palette.
The artwork has been painted on stretched and primed cotton canvas and finished in a satin varnish. The frame is made from solid wood and painted with a warm satin white finish. All fixtures are in place and is therefore ready to hang. Due to the natural colors of both the painting and frame it would suit most home interiors to enhance and create an eye catching feature and interesting focal point.
