'Flying High' is a vibrant and atmospheric, semi abstract seascape and painted with a slightly impressionistic style. This contemporary and modern work of art has been framed with all fixtures in place and therefore ready to hang.
I have used acrylic medium and a palette of blue and green tones with burnt umber creating various shades of muted colours with overlays of washes giving this timeless piece, great depth of color. Splashes of white in the spray 'soften' the tones to add light against the dark blue 'moody' sky where the birds fly above the waves.
The bespoke frame has been made from solid wood with a smooth mat finish. The image itself has been painted on primed cotton canvas and finished with a satin varnish.
