'Sensual Shores' is a semi abstract coastal fine art painting in acrylic medium on canvas. Impressionist in its' style and full of pastel colours creating great depth, perspective and light throughout.
I used an infusion of colour shades from a palette of pink, blue, purple green and yellow in complementary and subtle shades to describe this large rural seascape. Light and dark tones reflect from the sky to the sea and land giving to the viewer a great sense presence and space. The acrylic paint and mediums used integrate and interact achieving fluidity expression and unity to this inspired work of art.
For me, it expresses an emotional response to the atmospheric mood of the day as it gives way to the changing light casting shadow and drama throughout.
It has been painted onto professional primed cotton canvas with solid wood bar frame for its sturdy support. The solid wood bespoke frame has a slightly rustic and grainy white matt surface complementing the artwork beautifully.
All fittings are in place and therefore ready to hang in your home or work space. It would suit many room settings including contemporary or the more traditional.
