'Sea Project' is a tribute to the industrial formation of marine vessels and structures and the environment in which they find themselves.
The inspired painting includes aspects of the boats and offshore platforms, with softer notes relating to the ocean and sea bird, coming together in unison forming this industrial semi abstract fine art painting. An unusual concept but nonetheless exciting for what this striking combination represents to the town of Weston-Super-Mare. The balance between purpose built structures and their ability to harness the weather while being enhulfed by the force of their surroundings. This place I visited often in my childhood is now fast becoming one of Britains most revived and major coastal towns of interest.
It has been painted in acrylic medium with satin finish and painted onto professional, archival quality, primed artboard. It is mounted onto a painted 'warm white' background of thick 5mm MDF and framed with solid wood, painted frame, complementing the artwork beautifully.
