Painted in a impressionist style, I used shades of blue and green for the sky and sea. In contrast for the foreground are stronger colour elements with added complementary blended tones of yellow ochre, burnt umber and burnt sienna which work in perfect harmony with the middle ground and distant coastline.  An invigorating open space of a British rural setting full of perspective and harmony, creating a feeling of presence and beauty.
 
This fine art piece has been painted onto primed, archival professional stretched cotton canvas. It has been framed in a contemporary, modern style wide front, solid wood frame which has a warm white, slightly textured, matt finish complementing the artwork beautifully.
