An original, framed, semi abstract seascape painting. Medium in size and using colours of blue, turquoise, beige, grey and white tones. Very atmospheric with moody skies, setting the scene for this beautiful, evocative work of art.
For this modern coastal landscape I used deep smokey hues with a textural flowing quality for the ocean. Using a more delicate lighter tone for the foreground I was able to express the shoreline using different mediums giving me the effects I need to convey the uneven, rustic, natural beauty of the land. It was inspired by the Cornish coastline of Great Britain, a place I love.
The bespoke, matt, warm white frame has been crafted in solid wood, complementing the artwork beautifully. The actual canvas measures 40 x 30 cm and the frame face measures 7 cm, giving this piece of art 'room to breath'. The frame being traditional with a contemporary twist, means it would look ideal in any room setting and a unique statement piece for your home or work space.
