'Rock and Sand' is an expressionist, semi abstract medium size painting framed with a warm grey solid wood frame.
 
Textural and contemporary in its style this painting in acrylic is full of painterly qualities depicting the flow and ebb of the tide on coastal sands. Using a palette of mainly burnt sienna, umber and ultramarine blue, the paint has been manipulated using complementary mediums to achieve the abstract and slightly impressionistic coastal scene. 
 
The painting itself has been created on professional archival, primed board and mounted on 6mm thick MDF. The frame is made from solid wood and hand painted in warm grey with satin finish. All fixtures are in place and therefore is ready to hang in your home or office.
