Ripples, an original, contemporary, textural and expressionist painting in acrylic medium. Shades of green and turquoise have been used to illustrate the rocky coastline.
The painting is semi abstract in style and mediums were used to manipulate the paint creating the effect of sea water swirling over seaweed, rock and stone. The image exudes vibrancy with deep contrasting undertones creating a lively and rustic sea image.
It has been painted onto primed, professional, archival art board and mounted onto thick MDF. The solid wood frame is painted with warm satin white finish which complements the artwork beautifully.
