'Pools of Light' is a large framed, semi abstract, contemporary painting on triple primed stretched cotton canvas. Sea shells, fish, seaweed, rock, stone and water reflect the coastal light by the rock pools on the coastal landscape.
The beach themed artwork has been painted in an impressionistic style with acrylic medium on a textured canvas surface. I have used a colour palette of green, slate, umber and subtle blue tones adding depth of colour with overlays of washes. The colours become muted as the surface disappears under the depths of the salty sea water.
The bespoke floating style (inlay) frame is made from solid wood and has a smooth polished white gloss finish complementing the artwork beautifully. All fixtures are in place and therefore ready to hang in your home or workspace creating a strong image and focal point.
