'Ocean Blue' is a small, framed, original semi abstract, coastal painting full of textural and painterly qualities.
 
I used washes from the palette of burnt umber and turquoise blue adding hints of burnt Siena to create warm deep tones depicting scenes reminiscent for me, of the British rural coastline. Rock, stone, sand and sea reflect light onto the shore in the foreground which is in strong contrast to the bright turquoise water giving this painting 'movement' and impact to the viewer.
 
It has been painted onto archival quality primed art board and sits on thick MDF painted in warm white with satin finish. The solid wood frame has also been painted to complement the artwork and varnished with satin finish. All fixtures have been professionally added and therefore ready to hang in your home or workplace.
