'London Vibe' is a medium size, abstract painting and an interpretation of the London skyline as seen from the River Thames. Painted in a rustic and textured style with many painterly qualities adding movement and drama to this creative, impactful and inspried work of art.
 
It has been painted in an abstract and slightly impressionist style with gold paint spattered throughout giving an evocative sense of the city seen by myself, the artist. I have to captured the essence of what I see as the capitals' structure and viberancy. It has been painted in acrylic medium using a limited colour palette of blue, grey, gold, white with subtle pink tones. The square art board has been  primed and finished with gloss varnish for aesthetic value and for it's protection. 
 
I used to work in London as a graphic designer and have seen vast changes over the years. It is not any less awe inspiring now I see it as a visitor. After many exhibitions here, I feel privalaged to have been a part of London life and long may it continue!
 
The bespoke frame is made from solid wood which has a slightly rustic look. It is overall painted in a matt warm white, complementing the artwork beautifully. The finished piece would suit many settings giving the viewer impact and interest to  home or office space. Although a modern work of art, it would suit a contemporary or traditional interior.
