A framed, original watercolour painting in semi abstract depicting buildings and achitecture within the City of London. Painted in a contemporary style and full of strong colour tones and nuance. A series of artwork from the 'Cityscape Collection'.
 
A small but impactful interpretation of how London is seen through my eyes. A place I visit frequently since working and exhibiting in the city. Full of atmosphere and painterly qualities creating a strong  image to view. Tones of blue, purple and burnt umber create light and dark amoungst the diverse structures of the city. The gates and archways give focus to the scene against the shadows whilst creating texture, tone and harmony throughout.
 
The watercolour is painted on thick archival, professional, Bockingford paper. Mounted with textured white archival mount card which has a black core giving the image a crisp clean contemporary finish and complementing the artwork beautifully. 
 
Framed with deep solid wood frame which has a white, matt finish and displays a glass panel to the front and fixtures in place for hanging at the back. Collectively, mount, frame and artwork will add a sleek modern feel to many house or work interior settings adding focus and interest to small areas.
