'Light Approach' is a semi abstract, coastal fine art painting in acrylic medium on canvas. Impressionist in its' style and full of colour with texture, creating great depth, perspective and light throughout.

I used an infusion of colour from a palette of pink, turquoise blue, green and orange in complementary and subtle shades to describe the forefront of this rural landscape with lighter tones for the sea, waves and sky as it reflects onto the land. The paint and mediums used integrate and interact achieving fluidity and unity to this inspired work of art.

For me, it expresses an emotional response to the atmospheric mood of the day as it gives way to the changing light, casting shadow and drama and giving the viewer a sense of calm and wonder.

It has been painted onto primed cotton canvas with solid wood bar frame for its sturdy support. The artwork has been left unframed for you to decide your own style to suit your interior, whether office or home environment.
