'Apparent' is a strong, high impact, highly contrasting original abstract in acrylic medium. An expressionist and textured work of art. Think, industrial interior design, weathered, old rustic, faded walls within a modern living environment and there you have todays contemporary design.
 
I have used natural, neutral colour tones with shades of black, white, a hint of blue and shimmering gold which ejects light to this inspired piece of art. It should be viewed from all photos before purchase because with every angle of light, the painting looks different. The video shows how it displays in a light filled room. 
 
Rustic in its creation, I first used layers of textured gesso overlaying acrylic paint with different tools to then imitate the beautiful shades of times gone by. This way of painting gives more diversity and freedom of expression whilst creating a unique and modern piece of art for a contemporary setting either in the home, a business location or in the office work space.
 
The artwork has been painted on stretched cotton canvas, with the sides painted in white acrylic. It has been left unframed so that you can determine which frame will suit your home or office interior style. Fixtures and fittings are in place if you wish to hang without a frame. This unique piece of art will have maximum impact on any wall surface creating a rugged modernist designer touch.
