'In Time', is a detailed hare portrait in watercolour medium. A fine example of this enigmatic creature of beauty.
Using a natural and warm colour palette of rich umber and ultra marine blue I was able to create the textured fur whilst using light and dark tones to add form and contrast for the body. Using delicate overlays of these highly pigmented colours gives the painting great depth and character.
It is a large to medium size painting with a contemporary style and can therefore be hung in either the more modern inteiror or the traditionally styled home creating strong impact and interesting focal point to your home or place of work.
The artwork has been painted on archival Bockingford 320gsm watercolour 'not' paper. The beige/white bespoke frame is made from solid wood which has a slightly rustic and textured quality. With glass front panel, it is backed with thick MDF board and sealed with archival professional artist tape. All fixtures are in place and therefore ready to hang.
