'Haste' is a quirky image of the wild hare painted in watercolour medium. Although I've represented it in a slightly animated way, the hare has been seen in this stance around the fields and countryside of Britain. I gave this enigmatic creature a twist to represent their 'attitude' as I see it. 
 
Using a limited colour palette of mainly ochre and burnt umber I was able to create the hare with movement and texture. It is a medium size watercolour and painted in a contemporary style and therefore will create a focal point in either a modern interior or the more traditional style of home.
 
The frame is made from solid light oak and backed with MDF. It has a glass panel to the front and all fixtures are in place ready for hanging. It has been painted on archival quality Bockingford 350gsm watercolour paper. The archival warm white mount has a slight texture to the surface with a black core creating a crisp clean edge to the artwork. All fittings are in place and is therefore ready for hanging.
