Semi abstract, original, framed seascape painting entitled 'Gravitate' is a beautiful, evocative, contemporary piece of fine artwork. It has been created using acrylic paint and various mediums using delicate overlays giving great depth, contrast and texture. Natural colours of blue green and light brown hues have been used to obtain the slightly impressionistic, expressionist and textural style.
The work has been inspired by my time spent by the coast, studying, drawing and 'living the life'. The artwork evokes an emotional response to forms, atmosphere and textures from rural aspects of rustic coastline.
The artwork has been painted on professional primed art board and mounted on 6 mm MDF. The total size measures 34 cm square (the actual artwork measures 20 cm square). The frame is made from solid wood and painted in a warm white with satin finish which will suit practically all home and work interiors creating an eye catching feature and focal point for the small areas that need a little something of interest.
