A medium size painting in soft colour tones of yellow ochre and burnt umber. I have used deep contrast of light against dark to give the hare form and detail to the features. Set against a plain background gives the image a contemporary feel and high impact to the viewer.
It is framed in solid oak with a glass front panel and MDF backing. The mount is of archival quality which is in warm textured white with black core, which gives the artwork a clean crisp edge and finish. It has been painted on Bockingford archival thick watercolour paper and all fixtures are in place and therefore ready to hang. The actual image measures 23 x 18.5 cm. Because of the harmonious colours of both painting and frame, it will certainly complement many home interiors whether modern or the more traditional. An eye catching work of art...not to mention, cute!
