An original semi abstract ocean wave, marine painting is the subject for this dramatic coastal seascape. Painted with acrylic medium using texture with expressionism creating a dramatic and powerful image to the viewer.
 
A piece of fine art using harmonious deep colour tones of blue green and turquoise in a layered form creating depth and impact throughout.
 
This piece of work was inspired by my time spent at the coast, in all weather, studying and capturing on paper or board, aspects of the ocean with all it's subtle changes of reflecting light.
 
The artwork has been painted on cotton canvas and will complement many interiors whether contemporary or the more traditional adding interest to areas that need a focal point with a pop of colour.
