A beautiful and atmospheric coastal, beach art painting with flora, ocean waves and seagulls flying overhead. Painted on stretched cotton canvas in a semi abstract style using acrylic medium, with satin finish. From the seascape collection by Janet Gammans.
I used soft and warm colour tones of lavender, pink and turquoise blue to create a textured painting full of movement and energy. It has been inspired by the Cornish coastline, having spent much time in this stunning part of Cornwall in the UK. It is a vibrant painting full of rustic coastal charm. Flowers and foliage are painted in the foreground using splashes and dabs to achieve this impressionist style of art. It is both charming and idyllic in it's setting and hope that it gives the viewer a sense of 'being in the moment', as it did for me.
It has been left unframed for you to decide which style of frame might suit your home or work interior whether that is modern, contemporary or the more traditional setting. It can also be hung directly on your wall without a frame as all fittings are in place.
