'Emerge' is a large, contemporary, framed impressionist painting on stretched, primed cotton canvas.
Bright turquoise and emerald make this textural artwork a 'stand out' piece. I have used deep colour tones for the rock and stone in shades of umber and slate grey with an overwash of turquoise blue to give the painting depth and continuity. It has an underlay of textured primer to give the image the illusion of a craggy and rustic quality. As the crab emerges, ripples of sea water flow over the coastal rock pool giving light and contrast to the waters edge.
It has been framed with a 'floating' effect (tray) frame which is solid wood and hand painted in a warm satin white. All fixtures are in place and therefore ready to hang as a feature in your home or workspace.
