A seascape painting in acrylic medium of a lady walking her beloved dog by the waters edge of the sea shore. A reflection of time spent at the beautiful Cornish coast walking upon the vast and unspoilt beaches of the stunning beaches of England.
 
A contemporary style painting evoking atmosphere of memories we have.  Nuances of expressionist brushstrokes similar to that of the impressionists, describe the reflection from the blue grey sky onto the wet salty sand of the beach. Seagulls fly over sea waves creating movement and a sense of time and place. A pallete of violet ultramarine, burnt umber and yellow ochre are combined creating harmony and subtlety of tone throughout. I would like to think this painting would evoke happy times to the viewer and a freedom of spirit.
 
It has been painted onto professional, primed art board and coated with a layer of satin varnish for it's protection whilst adding a subtle sheen finish.
 
The bespoke frame is made from solid wood which has a slightly rustic and grainy surface. It has been professionally coated in a matt warm white complementing the artwork beautifully. Although a modern work of art, would suit a contemporary or traditional interior creating a soft and interesting focal point.
