'Density' is an extra large, framed, natural forest and woodland scene, full of texture and depth which has been painted onto a primed, stretched cotton canvas.  Acrylic medium has been used with satin varnish overlay for it's protection. It comes framed with white solid wood and slightly textured frame which comlements the artwork beautifully giving a contemporary and modern feel to the finished piece. 
 
A landscape painted in an impressionist style with natural tones using prodominantly yellow and green but including lilac, blue, white and burnt umber with subtle splashes of red adding a touch interest, texture and movement. Vibrant and full of energy with deep contrast, gives this piece great perspective and depth. One could almost imagine that you were there, walking in the forest and undergrowth with the outdoor smell of freshness and nature to lighten your mood. I wanted to create a scene, to bring the outside in, and so to create a sense of harmony and light to bring into the home, mirroring all the colours one would envisage in our natural living world.
