A large, original, sensual beach themed coastal painting with a girl walking her dog by the sea waters edge as segulls fly overhead whilst the gentle tide laps onto the beach. An idyllic seascape fine art piece of artwork in acrylic medium and painted onto primed cotton canvas.
 
Painted in an impressionist style, I used delicate colour tones of blue, green, violet and pink adding contrast and form with yellow ochre and burnt umber. A concept of the perfect day spent by the sea. The clear light blue, violet and  pink sky reflects on the wet sands of the bay. An atmospheric open space of the British coast full of movement, harmony and great perspective creating a feeling of presence and an ethereal beauty.
 
This fine art piece has been painted onto primed, archival professional stretched cotton canvas. It has been framed in a contemporary, modern style wide front, solid wood frame which has a warm white, slightly textured, matt finish complementing the artwork beautifully.
