A large original atmospheric beach themed seascape painting. Seagulls fly and glide in the blue, pink sky as the waves roll onto the beach below setting the scene for the 'perfect day' at the British coast.
 
Painted in an impressionist style, I used multi colours for the foliage in the foreground and lighter harmonious colours for the background. The tones of the light sky reflect on the sea surface as the seagulls fly high over the cliff top. An idyllic coastal setting full of movement, colour and perspective, creating a feeling of presence peace and calm to the viewer.
 
This fine art piece has been painted onto primed archival professional stretched cotton canvas. It has been framed in a contemporary, modern style, wide front (8.5cm) solid wood frame which has a warm white, slightly textured matt finish complementing the artwork beautifully.
