Painted in an impressionist style, I used multi colours for the foreground foliage and complementary lilac, pink and blue for the middle and distance. The varied tones of sweeping vast sky reflect on the sea surface creating an harmonious unity throughout. The seagulls have been painted in detail giving the finished work of art movement and interest. An idyllic coastal scene full of depth and perspective creating a feeling of peace and calm to the viewer.
 
This fine art piece has been painted onto primed archival professional stretched cotton canvas. It has been framed in a contemporary, modern style, wide front (8.5cm) solid wood frame which has a warm white, slightly textured matt finish complementing the artwork beautifully.
