This large original semi abstract contemporary seascape painting in acrylic medium is subtle in colour tone using light and dark blue, burnt umber (brown) cream, white with gold added for extra dimension creating interest, form and texture throughout.
Complementary hues of grey blue from the sky reflect onto the vast sweeping sands below where the sea flows gently toward the shore creating movement, shadow and atmosphere. It has been painted in a slightly impressionistic style whilst using plenty of painterly techniques to describe the scene.
It has been painted onto a large primed stretched cotton canvas which is fixed with solid wood stretcher frame. It has been left unframed for you to decide which would suit your interior to it's best advantage whether a modern frame or the more traditional to suit your home or work space.
