'Breaking Through' is a textured, original, semi abstract coastal landscape. A contemporary piece of fine artwork which is both atmospheric and moody with added deep tonal value using colors of turquoise, blue, white and umber hues. The artwork has been painted in an expressionist and modern style.
It has been inspired by my time spent by the coast, studying, drawing and 'living the life'. The artwork evokes an emotional response to forms, atmosphere and textures from rural aspects of the rustic and rugged coastline.
The artwork has been painted on a stretched primed cotton canvas. The chunky, deep, solid wood 'floating' frame has a smooth warm white satin coating to complement the artwork. All fixtures are in place and therefore, ready to hang. The image would suit most home interiors and enhance large, wide areas of interest creating an eye catching feature and a strong and interesting focal point of high visual impact.
