An original medium size framed landscape full of texture, subtle nuances and painterly qualities throughout. A light background has been used to accentuate the rugged foreground wetland.
 
A modern approach is used to depict this scene. An harmonious and rustic style full of expression using subtle shades of blue, ochre and burnt umber laid in a semi abstract style creating depth, perspective and drama.
 
For me, it expresses an emotional response to the atmospheric mood of the day as it gives way to the changing light, casting shadow and reflection, giving the viewer a sense of place. 

It has been painted onto primed cotton canvas in acrylic medium. The solid wood, bespoke frame has a slightly rustic and grainy white matt surface complementing the artwork beautifully. All fittings are in place and therefore ready to hang in your home or work space.
